Sole Trader Package

Tailored sponsor licence and compliance support for sole traders and small UK businesses looking to enter the UK market via self-sponsorship.

Who is it for?

Designed exclusively for established Sole Traders, start up's and early-stage sponsors operating in the UK who need to obtain and manage a Home Office Sponsor Licence to sponsor themselves or up to two sponsored workers under the Skilled Worker route.

To qualify, the sole trader must:

  • Be registered with HMRC and actively trading in the UK.

  • Have a UK business bank account.

  • Be able to evidence genuine business activity (contracts, invoices, clients, etc.).

  • Have a registered business address and right-to-work in the UK.

What does the service include?

Authorising Officer (AO) Appointment – Statutory Requirement

  • Appointment of a compliant AO to fulfil Home Office statutory duties.

  • Role includes:

    • Acting as the organisation’s official Authorising Officer with UKVI.

    • Holding legal accountability for licence management and compliance.

    • Overseeing sponsor licence system (SMS) entries and staff updates.

    • Ensuring right-to-work checks, record-keeping, and licence renewals.

    • Providing ongoing guidance and updates to maintain full compliance.
